  • Cut banana half lengthwise into 3 slices.

  • Spread peanut butter on one slice of bread. Spread strawberry preserves on the other slice.

  • Arrange mini marshmallows over the peanut butter. Sprinkle chocolate chips over peanut butter, then lay banana slices over top. Top with remaining slice of bread, preserve-side down, to form a sandwich.

  • Spray a skillet with cooking spray and cook sandwich over medium heat until browned on both sides and marshmallows are beginning to melt, 3 to 4 minutes per side.

Tips

You can use whole wheat bread instead of white, and crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy.

The original recipe uses pineapple preserves instead and adds a sliced strawberry, but leaves out the marshmallow.
