  • Combine garlic scapes, lemon juice, vinegar, salt, olive oil, canola oil, and walnuts in a blender. Blend into a smooth paste. Adjust seasoning if needed.


Chef's Note:

You can use 1/2 cup olive oil instead of a blend of olive and canola, if it's a very mild variety.

Delicious! I used 2 cups of scapes for a pound of frilly macaronis and it was *chef's kiss* delicious. I liked the walnuts in place of expensive pine nuts. Very thankful for a ton of scapes still to be pesto'd! Read More
