Any-Fruit Frozen Margaritas


A watermelon margarita? How about peach, strawberry, or even a cantaloupe margarita? You pick any fruit you desire for this recipe for frozen margaritas.

  • 3 tablespoons water

  • 2 tablespoons white sugar

  • 2 ¼ cups frozen diced watermelon

  • ¾ cup prepared lemonade

  • ¼ cup lime juice

  • 1 cup tequila

  • ½ cup orange-flavored liqueur (such as Cointreau®)


  1. Boil water and sugar together in a small pot until sugar has dissolved into a syrup. Remove from heat and let cool briefly.

  2. Combine syrup, watermelon, lemonade, and lime juice in a blender; blend until smooth. Pour in tequila and orange-flavored liqueur. Blend until combined.

Cook's Note:

Lemonade is always good to use as your nectar or juice, but fresh juice is best.
