This is a really great recipe for chicken salad that I always get compliments on at family gatherings. I hope you like it. Makes about 6 good-sized sandwiches; approximately 5 cups.

  • Mix chicken, pineapple, celery, salad dressing, sweetened cranberries, mayonnaise, apple, green onion, rosemary, dill, seasoned salt, salt, and pepper together in a large bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Cook's Notes:

If you like it moister, add a little bit more mayonnaise or Miracle Whip(R).

You can use dried dill instead of fresh and chives instead of green onions.

I really enjoyed this recipe and it was great with my garden fresh tomatoes. However, I prefer eggs in chicken salad. The only thing I did differently was: 1. Omitted dried cranberries 2. Used a shallot instead of green onions. 3. I used fresh thyme instead of rosemary Read More
