This stir-fry comes together for quick weeknight meal. I do not suggest dry garlic powder or dry ginger, as you will not get the flavor profile fresh ginger and garlic bring. Serve on top of cooked rice.

  • Heat vegetable oil in a wok until simmering. Add skirt steak, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Add stir-fry vegetables. Pour in sauce mixture. Cook until vegetables are heated through, about 5 minutes.

Cook's Note:

Regular honey can be used, but I prefer honey powder as it's not sticky.

The ginger and garlic sauce was very good. I substituted sliced onion and mushrooms for one bag of stir fry vegetables, but kept the sauce as is. Next time I might make a little more of the sauce so there's more goodness for the rice to soak up. Read More

Delicious. I used one T sugar instead of the 2 Ts of honey, and it was plenty sweet for me. Otherwise, made exactly as written (well ok, I did add more garlic and red pepper because yum). Read More

Excellent. Followed as closely as possible, didn’t have powdered honey so whisked in the same amount of regular honey. Even the picky kids liked it. If I could give it 4.5 stars I would. Something has to be pretty mind blowing for me to give 5 stars. Read More

WOW! Great sauce - doubled. Used 2 Tbsp liquid honey, 10 drops Tabasco and big tsp of chili garlic sauce to the sauce. We used fresh veg - onions, mushrooms, carrots, red pepper and added 6 garlic cloves to the frying veg. Topped with chow mein noodles and devoured!!! Thanks for posting. Read More
