Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw pumpkin seeds

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, or as needed

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

  • 1 tablespoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1 pinch ground black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).

  2. Mix pumpkin seeds, oil, garlic, salt, cayenne, and black pepper together in a bowl and spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven, turning every 10 minutes, until dried, about 45 minutes.

Cook's Note:

I normally don't rinse my seeds off because I love the flavor that my seasoning has on the pumpkin. This is by no means a sweet recipe.
