My family loved these potatoes. The only ingredient I added was pepper and I pretty much doubled the cheese. I put half of the potatoes in a ceramic bean pot, sprinkled with salt and pepper, poured half the sauce over, repeated. I left the cover on the bean pot while cooking. Great recipe.

My husband and I loved this!
I layered potatoes, some chopped onions, and sauce twice. I added a teaspoon of onion powder to the sauce and used half salt and half garlic salt and some pepper for seasoning the potatoes. The cheese I used was swiss and guyere. Turned out perfect. Will be serving this with Easter ham.
I love how this recipe is so simple and so delicious. The only thing I changed was I soaked the potatoes with salted water for near an hour before baking.
These turned out pretty good but could have used some seasoning. The method worked perfectly as directed. I recommend using a mandoline to slice the potatoes so that they all cook evenly. This is one I would make again and I'd like to experiment with other cheeses.
Very good recipe. I had to adjust a bit because I used a couple more potatoes. So I increased the sauce by at least 50%. I added some garlic & onion powders and Worcestershire sauce. I used jack/cheddar cheese I had in fridge. The cup of leftover ham went between the layers too. My husband loved them.
Followed the recipe and it was a hit.. crispy edges and cheesy goodness. Def recommend!
