I made these exactly as instructed and they were okay, but nothing I’ll make again. The dual mustard effect did not enhance these, and actually I believe the mustard should be reduced.
Too strong of a mustard flavor. Not horrible, but weird flavor combination.
Great easy recipe for a weeknight. I added a bit more soy and used grated ginger instead of tarragon. Yum.
So easy and delicious! The sauce is excellent over quinoa or brown rice too. I used fresh basil since I had no tarragon and it was very good. Will make often!
Delicious and slightly sweet. I served with rice and lots of vegetables and a salad. Easy weeknight dinner.
Great flavors in this recipe, honey, tarragon and ginger root ! I did swap chicken breasts for thighs but the outcome was marvelous !
This recipe came out great! My husband is always skeptical of a new recipe but he raved about this one!
I used chicken breasts instead of thighs. (To me, the picture looks like chicken breasts.). The sauce was very tasty. I will make this again.
I removed excess fat from thighs, but kept some of the skin on. Baked at 350 for 1/2 hour and turned it up to 375 to crisp. My husband and son both loved it.
Recipe turned out great, instead of coming in the oven I opted for the grill.
do not rinse chicken before cooking. google it and find out why.
I didn't have any grainy mustard on hand but made these anyway. Enjoyed the flavor and ease in making these. Will do again as I love the juicy-ness of the chicken thighs.
My husband went crazy for this one! I loved the recipe because it's easy to make and the flavors are complex. This is definitely going into regular rotation at our house.
The only change I made was substituting 1 tsp dried tarragon for the fresh tarragon called for. A big hit with guests!
Easy recipe and quite tasty. I used dried tarragon because I didn't have fresh which I'm sure would have been better. I used more ginger to boost the flavor. I might add a small amount of either red pepper flakes or chipotle pepper flakes next time.
even my sons liked it and they are normally very picky first time something is made
Great as is! Flavor was very good, would have liked thicker sauce.
I was excited for a honey Dijon chicken recipe. This didn’t impress me. Maybe I don’t like tarragon, maybe it’s just a weird flavor combo
My whole family enjoyed the dish. It was fairly easy to fix and will fix it again,
I like to follow recipes to the T. If it passes the dinner table test, no changes to be made. We use the recipe critique as a dinner table family conversation, making changes the next time we make the meal, if any. Served it alongside a simple rice, pea and carrot mix. Had great taste and flavor but the tablespoon of ginger was just a little too much. Passed the test but will definitely cut the ginger by half.
I made this yesterday and it was a hit with my picky husband. Just the right mix of sweet and tangy.
