  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.

  • Place salmon on the prepared baking sheet. Spread with mayonnaise and sprinkle with Old Bay® seasoning.

  • Bake in preheated oven until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 20 minutes.

Cook's Note:

You can substitute the Old Bay(R) with herbes de Provence for a totally different and delicious taste. This can also be cooked directly on the grill.

Surprisingly tasty! This just goes to show you that simple ingredients often make the best-tasting recipes. I used a center cut filet that was about 1 1/4" thick. The only change I'd recommend is only baking for 15 minutes tops. This will ensure a perfectly-moist piece of salmon. If your filet is even thinner, start checking at 12 minutes. Read More

19 minutes was about right for a 3/4 inch thick fillet of wild caught salmon. I didn't measure the seasoning but I was generous, and it had a little too much spice for me. I would make this again, with a little less spice. Read More
