  1. Place a steamer insert into a pot and fill with water to just below the bottom of the steamer. Bring water to a boil. Place cauliflower in the insert, drizzle with olive oil, and spread olives around it; spread parsley and garlic on top and season with salt.
  2. Cover and cook over medium to low heat until a skewer easily pierces the cauliflower and the center is soft, 15 to 20 minutes. Add a couple of tablespoons of water during cooking to avoid burning.
