Made as written and this recipe does not work. The longer the fries roast, the soggier they get. They never did crisp up but only started to burn on the ends. The end result was soggy fries sitting in a pool of liquid. I had an extra turnip so I tried again by placing the fries in a colander and sprinkling with salt hoping to drain out some of the liquid first. That didn't work either. Read More
