Ingredients

  • 2 pounds turnips, peeled and cut into fry-sized pieces

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, or as needed

  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt (such as Johnny's®)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

  2. Place turnips into a bowl and generously drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with seasoned salt and toss to turn. Spread out onto the prepared baking sheet.

  3. Roast in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Turn and cook until cooked through, 5 to 10 minutes.

Cook's Note:

You can also use Himalayan salt instead of seasoning salt.
