  1. Combine cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice, and nutmeg in an airtight container. Add lemon zest when making mulled cider.

  • This mix is enough for 1 liter of cider (4 cups), approximately eight 4-ounce servings.
  • You can substitute 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon for the cinnamon sticks and 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves for the whole cloves.
