  • Combine milk, sugar, cocoa, and flour in a saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring constantly. Add egg yolks and turn heat up to medium-high, continuing to stir, until thick, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Serve warm or chilled.

This was way too sweet and the recipe needs to be flushed out a bit more for the newer cooks. It is quick and simple. If I make it again, I would cut the sugar down by half, maybe more. I really appreciated finding a recipe that I could make without cornstarch. Read More
