Matcha Green Tea Frappe


I liked this at a chain coffee shop and decided to try it myself. I saw some recipes online and decided to simplify it enough to use only a few measurements and throw it into a small blender. I'm lazy, but this one is quite good!

Matcha Green Tea Frappe

  • 1 ¼ cups ice cubes

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • cup confectioners' sugar

  • 1 tablespoon matcha powder

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Combine ice cubes, milk, confectioners' sugar, matcha powder, and vanilla extract in a blender; blend until smooth. Pour into a container and serve.

Cook's Note:

Vanilla extract is optional.
