The movie "Home Alone" served as inspiration to this macaroni and cheese. Although it says it's meant for one, it will serve two if you're feeling generous!

  • Meanwhile, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour until mixture is smooth. Slowly add half-and-half, whisking as it is poured in. Stir until sauce thickens slightly, about 3 minutes. Add Cheddar cheese, salt, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, pepper, and turmeric; whisk to combine.

  • Drain macaroni and add to the cheese sauce. Stir until evenly coated.

This was very good! I only had a half cup of noodles so I halved the recipe and it made enough for a big bowl of Mac n cheese. I didn’t have powdered mustards so I used regular mustard but next time I would use just a squirt. I will make this again. Read More

I make this all the time! I have to leave a review. It is SO easy, the proportions are perfect, and it’s such an easy recipe to tweak (for example, I exclude the Worcestershire sauce, and it’s fine without). Can’t praise this enough—this is a go-to lunch or dinner for me! Read More

This could have been cheesier. It was more like three servings rather than one. Read More
