I made some serious changes to this by necessity. I didn't have fresh which I would have preferred so I used canned mushrooms. I didn't have an onion so I was going t use onion soup mix. But I saw a ranch dressing mix in my mix bin and decided to use that instead. Really good. And the gravy would be good on anything, even a steak.

It was really easy to put together and make. The pork chops came out incredibly tender.
I had a 1.82 lb pork loin roast and a yearning for gravy. So the roast and other ingredients as well as a tablespoon of Penzey's Italian dressing mix went into my shallow oval crockpot. I had to use canned mushrooms, one can of golden mushroom soup, and one can of mushroom with garlic. I also used chopped garlic instead of powder. 9 hours on low because the roast was still frozen in the middle. Yum!!!! served over creamy mashed potatoes and will be having biscuits and gravy for breakfast.
