Original recipe yields 6 servings (3 cups)
- Melt butter in a medium nonstick saucepan over medium heat. Stir in cream cheese and garlic using a wire whisk until smooth, about 5 minutes. Add heavy cream a little at a time and whisk until smooth, cooking slow over medium-low heat, 7 to 10 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until blended. Adjust seasonings to taste. Remove from heat.

- I sometimes add chicken to this recipe. I use 3 boneless chicken breasts, cook them separately, and add on top of sauce. I personally like to grill my chicken.
