- Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic to hot butter and cook for 1 minute. Add mushrooms, bell peppers, and onion; cook for about 2 minutes more. Stir in chicken, diced tomatoes, masala sauce, raisins, and water. Raise heat to medium-high and bring to a simmer, about 5 minutes. Cover and cook until chicken is no longer pink in the center, stirring occasionally, 10 to 15 minutes.
