Ingredients

  • 4 ½ cups water

  • 5 dried hibiscus petals

  • 3 tablespoons sliced fresh basil leaves, or more to taste

  • 2 teaspoons grated lime zest

  • 3 teaspoons black tea leaves

Directions

  1. Fill a stovetop kettle with water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat; add hibiscus, basil, lime zest, and tea leaves. Stir once or twice and cover. Let steep for 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
