  1. Place potatoes into a large pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until tender, about 25 minutes. Drain. Let sit until cool enough to handle, 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Peel potatoes and mash in a large bowl. Add cream cheese, heavy cream, butter, chives, pepper, and salt. Stir until creamy.

Made as written except that I peeled the potatoes prior to boiling. Needed more salt but overall good recipe and one I would make again.
