  1. Combine water, milk, oats, apple, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and salt in a slow cooker; mix well.
  2. Cook oatmeal on Low for 1 hour. Reduce heat to Simmer or Warm and cook for 7 to 8 hours.

  • You can substitute maple syrup or other desired sweetener for brown sugar.

I left out the butter and used pure protein drink and water combo to equal the amount of fluid. It is amazing!

Seond time to make this recipe; will make i again

I made no changes to the recipe so it came out as expected. My only problem was that I actually think this recipe is for 6 servings. So next time I'll make a little less.
