- Rinse quinoa. Bring chicken broth to a rolling boil in a saucepan. Add quinoa and butter and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Cover and let simmer until tender, about 5 minutes more. Remove from heat and let sit, covered, for an additional 5 minutes. Uncover and fluff quinoa with a fork. Season with salt and pepper.
