Baked Sweet Potato Chips

These are my boys' favorite. Nice, spicy, baked sweet potato chips.

  • 5 large sweet potatoes, thinly sliced

  • cooking spray

  • 3 teaspoons roasted garlic-pepper seasoning, divided


  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

  2. Spread sweet potato slices evenly on 2 cookie sheets. Coat evenly with cooking spray; sprinkle 1/2 of the garlic-pepper seasoning on top.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Flip, spray on the second side, and sprinkle remaining seasoning on top. Continue baking until tender, about 15 minutes more.

Cook's Note:

One does need to watch these as it is hard to determine the right baking time. Some people like them crunchy, some like them soft, so one has to keep and eye on them to determine when they're done to your liking!
