  1. Place yogurt, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt in a small bowl; whisk until combined. Add water and continue to whisk until the sauce has reached the desired consistency. Sprinkle with sumac.


  • Cook's Note:
  • A mini food processor may be used in place of a whisk, if desired. Pulse ingredients to combine; then add water and process to reach the desired consistency.

While the cumin seems out of place, double it. This was good and made for a great sauce for chicken gyros. I added cucumbers to my pitas but if you are not going to do that I also recommend add...
