Best Ramen Noodles


I got this ramen recipe from my father, who got it from his father. Nice on a cold day!

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 cup cubed cooked chicken

  • teaspoon dried minced onion, or to taste

  • 4 pinches Creole seasoning

  • 1 dash hot sauce

  • 1 (3 ounce) package ramen noodles with seasoning packet

  • 1 slice pepper Jack cheese


  1. Pour water into a medium saucepan. Add chicken, onion, Creole seasoning, and hot sauce. Bring mixture to a rolling boil. Add noodles and reduce heat to medium; cook for 3 minutes.

  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the included noodle seasoning packet and pepper Jack cheese. Let cool slightly before serving.
