Stir in pickles and green onion. Add Cheddar cheese. Shape mixture into a ball. Place almonds in a small skillet over medium-low heat. Stir until toasted and fragrant, about 5 minutes. Cover cheese ball with almonds. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour. Cook's Note: Use the white part of the onion for stronger flavor and add the green for extra.
