  1. Pour tea leaves into a French press carafe with the plunger up. Pour water on top. Cover and store on the counter or the fridge for 8 to 12 hours.
  2. Push the carafe plunger down before pouring the tea into the bottle. Store in the refrigerator.


  • Cook's Notes:
  • You can also brew the tea in a large bottle or bowl. After steeping, pour tea through a few layers of cheesecloth into a storage bottle.
  • If using a French press carafe, leave the plunger up. The longer you steep the tea, the stronger it will be.
