  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  • Place Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet; sprinkle garlic and bacon evenly over the top. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons oil and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Bake in the preheated oven until sprouts are crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, about 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes.

  • Place sprouts in a serving bowl. Toss together and drizzle with remaining oil. Season with salt and pepper and top with Asiago cheese.

These are very good as is. The balsamic gives them a bit of a sweet taste that I will tone down in my next try along with fine tuning the baking time for golden brussels sprouts. I do however have to admit that I used only 1/3 of the oil the recipe called for. My sprouts were little and were not exactly pretty so I had to clean them up so this made them even smaller. Other than that I guess use judgement on the amount of oil depending on the size of your sprouts. Will make it again as it goes VERY WELL WITH FILET MIGNON! Read More

Simple and delicious. This needs clarifying to use UNCOOKED BACON! I fried up the slices before I realized they would burn to a crisp in the oven when cooked 45 more minutes. Read More
