Dairy-Free Keto Hot Cocoa

This keto-friendly hot cocoa features MCT oil, egg, cacao powder, but no dairy. Stevia should be added to taste. It depends on the kind of stevia and whether you use coffee or water.

  • ¾ cup boiling water

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil

  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder

  • 5 drops vanilla extract

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 7 drops liquid stevia, or to taste


  1. Combine boiling water, egg, MCT oil, cacao powder, vanilla extract, and salt in a blender. Whip until well mixed and frothy. Add enough stevia to reach desired sweetness.

Cook's Note:

Substitute coffee for the boiling water if preferred.
