  2. Place tomatoes, onion, olive oil, parsley, basil, salt, garlic powder, and pepper in a 4-quart Dutch oven; stir to combine.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until sauce is thick and bubbling, about 1 hour. Serve immediately.
