Was an absolute hit at my house tonight.wanted to try something new and this was it! Super easy to make and absolutely delicious. I subbed the green peppers out for red peppers though. I was nervous about the ground turkey but it was perfect. The flavors are terrific and compliment each other well. I will definitely be making this again, a new fall favorite!

My husband and I loved this recipe! The spices, tomatoes, pumpkin, ground turkey, and sweet potatoes were a delicious combination of flavors. Next time, I'll probably add some canned or frozen corn since I think that would be good with the other ingredients. Thanks for a terrific recipe!
This was delicious and a Dutch oven makes it much easier than normal shepherd's pie! I made it as written except I substituted regular chili powder + 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper for the ancho chili powder and I added a couple cups of mushrooms that I had left over from a different recipe. I also left out the oil, as my ground turkey was a fattier type. I might add a bit of shredded Gouda cheese to the top next time, but everything else was perfect!
Yum! And healthy. I don't love ground turkey but I do really like this.
This is really good and easy to put together. I love the twist on traditional shepherd's pie flavors. Gonna make it again tonight!
I was cooking for 3, so halved the stated recipe quantities. I did not have cumin, so omitted it with no problem. Since we are vegetarian, I used Morningstar crumble instead of the turkey. REALLY good! I’d like to try this again but add either cheese or “Crema Mexicana” (fantastic stuff if you’ve never tried it - !
Loved this! I did leave out the peppers and cumin as my system does not tolerate those spicy ingredients. I will definitely be making this again.

I too mine with shredded cheese instead of sweet potato. Delicious.
I pretty much made it by the recipe and it was very good. Tasted a lot like a turkey chili recipe with the pumpkin and spices. I do tend to change recipes a lot, but this one needed no alternations.
Pretty good. Will make this again. Added corn (b4 reading others' comments) and green beans. Increased spices slightly, so did not find it bland at all.
