Bring water to a boil. Add sweet potato, cover, and steam until tender, 25 to 30 minutes. Remove and allow to cool. Peel and cut into chunks. Combine sweet potato, almond milk, cocoa powder, agave nectar, peanut butter, and almond extract in a blender; blend until smooth. Add more almond milk if mixture is too thick. Serve immediately.
