This is so simple and it could be a five star recipe, but the instructions are lacking. I chose to use fresh green beans, which I boiled in salted water, but after this point is where it gets confusing (regardless of canned or fresh green beans). Is there supposed to be any liquid in the pot before cream cheese and butter are added, or does the water get drained off? I really wanted to love this recipe but it needs clearer instructions. Love this flavor combo. I added a clove of fresh garlic. I also used fresh green beans and boiled them in water, then drained the rest of the ingredients and stirred over low heat till all the butter and cream cheese were incorporated. Yummy! Read More
