I have made these several times and they are better than choco chip cookies that are not gluten free. I did sub grape seed oil for veg oil as I did not have that. Moist cheMom loves these but hates choco chip. Said she cannot tell but that they
I used Walnuts chopped very fine because I didn't have any of the other nets. I also had to add a little bit of water to get the mixture to mix correctly. You will probably have to adjust your cooking time slightly if you use what I did, but the recipe comes out fine
The dough was very dry, so I added 1/2 cup of heavy cream. I rolled the cookies into balls, and they came out as balls. The taste of the cookies is good. A little more moisture and I think these cookies would be a 5!
I just made this recipe for the first time and the cookies are crispy deliciousness. I didn't have grapeseed oil so I used advocado oil. I didn't have chocolate chips so I added pecans, raisins, and candied ginger. It's clear that you can dress up the base cookie dough with anything you want. I highly recommend this recipe even if you are not gluten free. Mix, portion, bake. Super easy and fast.
Horrible recipe. I wasted 2 1/2 cups of flour. Maybe its my fault I had to add an egg and water(didnt have milk) just for it to have enough moistness to form balls, but as the recipe reads it is impossible to make cookies with this mixture it is so powdery. I'm starting to think the recipe calls for 1 1/2 cups of flour rather than 2 1/2!
