Avocado Crema


One-step recipe for delicious avocado crema. Simple, fresh flavors team up in the blender to create a bright and refreshing dipping sauce (or spread) that you'll want to put on everything!

  • ½ medium lime, juiced

  • ¼ bunch fresh cilantro, or to taste

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 medium ripe avocado, pitted, peeled and cut into wedges

  • 1 (8 ounce) container Mexican crema (such as Crema Supremo®)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper


  1. Combine ingredients in a blender in the following order: lime juice, cilantro, garlic, avocado, crema, oil, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.


You can also make this in a juice blender, a food processor, or a stand mixer.
