  • Mix water, sugar, and yeast together in a bowl. Let stand until yeast is foamy, 5 to 10 minutes.

  • Place flour, oil, and salt in a food processor; mix briefly. Add yeast mixture. Mix until a ball forms. Transfer to a bowl. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.

  • Punch dough gently to deflate. Roll out to form a pizza crust.

Cook's Notes:

If you have semolina flour, replace 1 cup all-purpose flour with 1 cup semolina flour.

Substitute olive oil for vegetable oil if preferred.

Add your favorite sauce and toppings to the dough. Bake at 425 to 450 degrees F (220 to 230 degrees C) for 15 to 20 minutes.
