Instant Pot® ribs are so tender they fall of the bone. The best part is that you can cook them start to finish in just a little over an hour.

Ingredient Checklist

Directions

Instructions Checklist
  • Combine juice, vinegar, and liquid smoke in a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot®). Add bay leaves.

  • Add a trivet to the pot and place ribs on top, trimming as needed to fit. Close and lock the lid; set valve to sealing. Choose high pressure and set timer for 15 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.

  • Release pressure using the natural-release method according to manufacturer's instructions, about 15 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.

Cook's Note:

Cook on manual for 15 minutes on high pressure if you want ribs to still have a slight pull when biting and be able to brown them on the grill or broil the rack without meat falling off the bone. You can do 25 minutes for extra-tender, almost fall-off-the-bone ribs.

It certainly didn't look like the picture. It was like anemic looking steamed pork ribs without flavor. I put BBQ sauce on in and ate it but my best recipe using 3 ingredients cannot be beat. Remove membrane over ribs. Take baking sheet and 2 layers of Aluminum foil. Set oven to 350F. Put ribs rib side up. Sprinkle garlic powder, any dry BBQ spice you like. Then drizzle warmed honey thinly over ribs. Bake 1 hour 15 min. Pour off grease into coffee can. Turn ribs over and repeat garlic, BBQ spice and drizzled honey. Bake another hour. If it is getting too brown, decrease the temperature. Awesome! I went from electric oven to gas and it cooks quicker in the gas oven. Monica Sanders Read More
