Stir-Fried Broccolini


Try this quick and easy broccolini stir-fry with fish, chicken, or any main course.

  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil

  • 1 pound broccolini, bottoms trimmed

  • 1 cup vegetable broth

  • 1 pinch white sugar

  • salt to taste

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce, or more to taste


  1. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add broccolini and stir-fry until green, glossy, and starting to soften, 3 to 5 minutes. Add broth, sugar, and salt; continue to cook until broth has almost completely evaporated and broccolini is tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in soy sauce.


If you're not vegetarian, try chicken broth — it adds extra flavor. You can also add garlic if you like.
