  1. Bring water to a boil. Add oats and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar and maple syrup. Let sit until desired thickness is reached, 2 to 3 minutes.

Yummy, one of my favorite combos maple syrup and brown sugar! The banana is a nice topping, it is on my menu!

I am not a fan of using water in my oatmeal so, the only change up was milk instead of water. The combination is perfect. Who needs packaged oatmeal. Thanks.

I usually use half oats and half granola with raisins.
