After searching for the perfect berry sangria recipe, this is what I came up with after making my own changes. Very comparable to Olive Garden berry sangria. Garnish with the fruit of your choice.

Ingredients

  • ½ pound fresh strawberries, halved

  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle Merlot wine

  • 2 navel oranges, juiced

  • 1 lime, juiced

  • 2 cups cranberry-raspberry juice

  • ½ cup brandy

  • ¼ cup Cointreau

  • 6 (1 gram) packets granular sucralose sweetener (such as Splenda®)

  • ice cubes

  • 8 cups strawberry flavored soda, or to taste

Directions

  1. Mash strawberries slightly in a bowl. Pour in a small amount of wine and mix to pick up any juices.

  2. Mix orange and lime juice in a pitcher. Pour in strawberries and remaining wine. Add cranberry-raspberry juice, brandy, Cointreau, and sucralose sweetener. Stir well and refrigerate until flavors combine, at least 4 hours.

  3. Fill glasses with ice. Fill each glass 2/3 to 3/4 of the way with sangria. Top with strawberry soda. Stir well.

Cook's Note:

Substitute 1/4 cup sugar for the sucralose sweetener if desired.
