I make variations of this carrot smoothie almost every morning. This is my breakfast, but Hubby and the boys have it in addition to their breakfast and they love it. The natural sugars in the fruit allows additional sweetener to be omitted.

  • Combine spinach, orange juice, carrot, protein powder, and ginger in a blender. Blend, adding frozen blueberries gradually and stirring if needed, until smooth.

Use any kind of frozen fruit, juice, and protein powder of your choice.

For a thinner smoothie, add more juice as needed.

This is awesome! I didn't have orange juice so I used some V8 Orange & Pineapple juice. Didn't have fresh ginger but I did add some flax seed. Everything else was as is. It was actually quite good that way and the right amount of sweet with nothing else added! Lisa Thanks for your idea. Read More
