Carrot Wake-Up Smoothie

"I make variations of this carrot smoothie almost every morning. This is my breakfast, but Hubby and the boys have it in addition to their breakfast and they love it. The natural sugars in the fruit allows additional sweetener to be omitted."

  1. Combine spinach, orange juice, carrot, protein powder, and ginger in a blender. Blend, adding frozen blueberries gradually and stirring if needed, until smooth.


  • Cook's Notes:
  • Use any kind of frozen fruit, juice, and protein powder of your choice.
  • For a thinner smoothie, add more juice as needed.

I've been trying several smoothie recipes lately but this one is my favorite so far. I did, however, add half an avocado for creaminess, but this one is super delicious!
