  • Combine mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon pepper, dill, black pepper, and garlic salt in a resealable plastic bag; add salmon. Gently coat salmon with the marinade. Place sealed bag in refrigerator; marinate about 2 hours.

  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.

  • Cook salmon skin-side down on the grill, 3 to 4 minutes. Flip and cook until fish flakes easily with a fork, or to desired degree of doneness, 3 to 4 minutes more.

Easy and tasty. I reduced the amount of lemon pepper by half and used garlic powder rather than salt to reduce salt. Added about 2tbsps of fresh lemon zest and baked in the oven in ceramic dish covered in foil at about 350. Uncovered it last few minutes and broiled. Served with brown rice and sautéed pepper and broccoli. No leftovers - will make again. Thanks for this great and simple recipe! Read More

I did not flip the salmon fillet over after grilling it skin side down because of my previous experience which was messy since the skin stuck to the grill. A friend suggested that I use an aluminum "BBQ Buddy" in the next grilling session. Read More
