Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes. Add okra and simmer until stew is thickened, about 5 minutes more. Cook's Note: You can substitute poultry seasoning with ground thyme, ground oregano, and ground mustard.
