  1. Place ground beef in a large skillet. Cook and stir over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease. Transfer beef to a slow cooker.
  2. Combine tomatoes, green pepper, water, tomato sauce, onions, rice, salt, chili powder, and Worcestershire sauce in the slow cooker. Stir thoroughly. Cover and cook on Low until rice is tender, 6 to 8 hours.


  • Cook's Notes:
  • Add 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper to give it a spicy kick!
  • You can also cook on High for 3 hours.

Excellent. Everyone loved it. Doubled the Rice Doubled the Tomato Sauce 1 1/2 cups water 3 teaspoons Chilli Powder and Salt Definitely add 2 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper

Made a double batch for a pot luck and it was a hit! I brought home less than a serving for leftovers. This recipe is a keeper!
