  1. Combine milk and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Heat until frothy and close to simmering, about 3 minutes. Reduce heat to low; whisk in caramel sauce and vanilla extract. Mix in coffee.

  • Half-and-half can be substituted for the milk.

This is a very good latte; however, I made it a little differently. I added the vanilla in with the milk and brown sugar. The 1% milk I used frothed up very nicely, and I had quite a bit of foam...

Easy to make and delicious. However, the recipe doesn't tell you what to do with the extra tablespoon of caramel sauce/topping. I just added it to the coffee mix.
