Paleo Apple Crisp

1 8-inch square baking dish


  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

  • 4 apples - peeled, cored, and chopped

  • ½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice

  • ¾ cup chopped pecan halves

  • ¾ cup sliced almonds

  • ¾ cup raisins

  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg


  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease an 8-inch square baking dish with coconut oil.

  2. Place apples in the baking dish. Pour orange juice over apples; mix until well coated.

  3. Combine pecans, almonds, raisins, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a food processor; pulse until coarsely chopped. Spread over the apples.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven until golden, about 35 minutes.
