  1. Place pork in a skillet over medium heat; season with salt and pepper. Cook and stir until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain and discard grease. Transfer pork to a slow cooker.
  2. Place bacon in the hot skillet and cook over medium-high heat until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain and discard grease. Transfer bacon to the slow cooker.
  3. Combine drained tomatoes, onion, green bell pepper, and tomato paste into the slow cooker. Add seasoning packet, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt, pepper, cayenne pepper; stir to combine.
  4. Cook on Low until flavors have combined, about 6 hours.

I usually don’t like chili but this is amazing! I’ll admit I did omit the sauces and used a jar of marinara instead but it was still soooo good!

This is so simple and delicious. I added Parmesan cheese to mine and was able to bring it to work for lunches. Boyfriend is not a fan of chili...but he devoured it. :)

I had lots of ground pork to use up so I decided to try this recipe. I think it lacks some seasonings though and thus the 4 star rating. I prefer chili with a mixture of beef and pork sausage.
