  • Combine turkey, 3/4 cup bread crumbs, green onions, egg, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic in a bowl; mix well.

  • Pour remaining bread crumbs into a shallow bowl. Roll turkey mixture into sixteen 1 1/2-inch balls with wet hands and coat in bread crumbs. Flatten gently between your palms to create a patty and place on the baking sheet.

  • Bake in the preheated oven until cooked through and no longer pink in the center, 20 to 25 minutes.

  • Stir mayonnaise and teriyaki sauce together in a bowl. Season with sugar.

  • Serve turkey sliders on Hawaiian dinner rolls with a small amount of mayo-teriyaki sauce.

Tips

Cook's Note:

If you like, you can toast the Hawaiian dinner rolls.

I followed the recipe as written, the only change being that I used ground ginger, not fresh. The flavors were great, the crispy texture added by the panko crumbs was really nice. They cooked perfectly with an extra 5 minutes in the oven. My whole family loved these sliders. I'm going to experiment with different types of meat. This just might become our go-to burger recipe. These were great! I think the only thing that would have made them better and added flavor is some sesame oil. I think cucumber slices would be a nice touch as well. Overall excellent and one I would make again. Read More

I followed the recipe as written. These were really good, even my husband liked the! We served them with the roles first but found them to be too sweet over all. So left overs were served without. The flavor was good but not amazing so we served them with a coleslaw on top and without the buns and they were an easy five star then! I recommend these as slow carb option! So good! The coleslaw recipe is on the site and listed as one without mayo. My husbands favorite recipe and so easy to make. Read More
