  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Whisk ricotta cheese and sugar together in a large bowl. Whisk in eggs one at a time until well combined.
  3. Combine flour and baking powder in a bowl; sift into ricotta mixture. Mix until batter is well combined and no dry spots remain. Add chopped chocolate, melted butter, and vanilla extract; stir until batter is smooth. Pour into the prepared cake pan.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Cool completely in the pan before serving.

Do not waste your time or money. I neglected to read the reviews before I made this, something is definitely missing from this recipe. Should be taken off the site.

What is wrong with this recipe I bake a ridiculous amount than I noted while putting all the ingredients together that someone left a big ingredient out other wise u could have made pizza dough ...

I felt like something was missing from the recipe. Was not pourable into a pan like the directions stated. It was thick. Was not sweet enough nor cake like. Disappointed. I spent a lot of money ...
