  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease 2 tart tins with 1 teaspoon butter.

  • Mix graham crackers and 5 teaspoons butter together in a bowl until mixture is dense and moldable. Press graham cracker into the bottom of the prepared tins to form the crusts.

  • Combine chocolate chips and heavy cream in a pot over medium-low heat. Cook and stir until chocolate chips are melted, about 3 minutes. Pour mixture evenly over the crusts; top each tart with 4 marshmallows.

  • Bake in the preheated oven until marshmallows are golden brown, about 2 minutes.

Cook's Note:

Do not let chocolate chip-heavy cream mixture reach a boil.

2.9.19 I d recommend baking the crust a bit before adding the chocolate filling because the crust crumbled coming out of the tart pan. Be sure to bake them on a piece of foil because the butter from the crust leaked out the bottom of the tart pan. The chocolate filling could have been a little creamier so I will try increasing the amount of whipping cream to 1-1/2 tablespoons next time. Super easy to make but the presentation was not as nice as it could be however I think that can be improved by making the changes I mentioned above. But most importantly it tasted good! Read More
